Legendary Crystal Chandelier

Beyond Indifference

Quality Park

It starts out reminding me of early minimal Nine Inch Nails• you know, the sad quiet songs with lots of static. Then it gets nicer. Still sad, but fuller, lush movements into some Mercury Rev playground, some Flaming Lip driveway. Then it switches into some garage rock Beatles riff, and I get confused. Hit the next song, it’s fuzzy and moody and sounds like liquid nice. Most of these songs are nice, but they’re not always fitting together. Sometimes too upbeat Belle And Sebastian, sometimes too quirky, but pretty much• a very nice album. Cute, too.
