Woman’s Hand Chopped Off During Fight

COLUMBIA – A Columbia woman wanted for cutting off the hand of another woman during a fight has surrendered to authorities.
Richland County sheriff’s spokesman Chris Cowan says 20-year-old Adrienne Moultrie turned herself in yesterday at the Allendale Police Department.
She’s charged with assault and battery with intent to kill.
Deputies say Moultrie and the victim were fighting over a man Thursday, when Moultrie got a large knife and cut the other woman’s hand off.
Doctors at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, were able to reattach 22-year-old Marquisha Jackson’s left hand.</i>
