with Every Time I Die, Fit For a King, Old Wounds

It was a bright, chilly day in Orlando, and line wrapped around the perimeter of The Beacham with early arrivers eager to get their mosh on. As fans started to pile in, hardcore NJ band Old Wounds began to open up The Aggressive Tour, presented by The Noise.
During their set vocalist, Kevin Iavaroni, shouted out to all the queer and trans kids, showing his support for the LGBTQ+ community. The crowd erupted in cheers. Ending their set with “Rest in Piss”, Iavaroni preached about women’s reproductive rights, dedicating that song to Donald Trump.
Next up was Fit For a King, opening with “Hollow King (Sound of the End)”. The crowd instantly lost it, becoming extremely chaotic. There were mosh pits left and right. During their last song, “Slave to Nothing” a wall of death occurred. Fit For a King were definitely bringing the best Metalcore vibes to this tour.

Once Every Time I Die came on, the crowd bursts with excitement. There were so many crowd surfers coming up, just within the first two minutes. Their set opened with “Glitches”, off their newest release, Low Teens. The energy level, of both the band and the crowd, was intense. These guys clearly put their all into every performance and the fans are grateful for it.

Once the lights shut off signifying Beartooth’s appearance, there were screams that could be heard from the moon. As they began to play “Burnout”, off of their new album Aggressive, the crowd was so loud that I felt like my eardrums were going to burst. Shomo gushed to the crowd that Orlando was the loudest show yet. He also addressed the Pulse Nightclub shooting, showing love to all the people affected. They closed out the night with an encore, playing “King of Anything” and “Body Bag”. ◼
