Tony Kieraldo

Milk Money

Tony Kieraldo is a charismatic artist and performer with a passion for jazz and ragtime music. His sound is fun, colorful and energetic, and his unique renditions of classic tracks are absolutely stellar. His most recent studio album features a cool selection of covers, including “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC, as well as “We Can Work It Out” by The Beatles. On the former, Kieraldo showcases his ability to create complex, yet direct piano rhythms accompanying the vocals to perfection with his verve and flow. On the latter, he managed to reinvent the track with a slow, soothing tempo, and a smooth arrangement that really allows the vocals to stand out and bloom through the mix.

One of the most amazing and inspiring versions on the album is definitely his emotional take on “Karma Police,” originally made famous by Radiohead. I also love the spontaneous and kaleidoscopic twist of his take on “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” a track that’s actually known as a Cyndi Lauper number, but that’s actually a Robert Hazard original.
